This just in : The No Adult Supervision Cooking Team has safely returned from Brady!

Kim did a fine job of cooking goat, but we didn't impress the judges. Well, there's always next year.

A relatively new addition at the Brady Cookoff is the Mystery Meat Competition. On Friday evening we are presented with some type of meat (always a product of the state of Texas). It is to be prepared in any manner, and turned in for judging on Saturday.

Last year was shrimp - Brad did a great job, but didn't place.

This year we were given about 3 pounds of ground buffalo. Since we were going to cook chili for a couple of days after Brady, we decided to practice with the buffalo. When awards were presented we got called for 3rd place! (out of 78)
